GIRAUD Jessica

Dr. Jessica Giraud, President and Founder of Archaïos, is a researcher associated with the VEPMO team of the CNRS of UMR 7041 and the French Institute of the Near East and the CEFREPA. As a landscape archaeologist, she works mainly in the arid and steppe regions of the Near and Middle East (Oman, Saudi Arabia, Emirates, Iraq, Afghanistan, Uzbekistan).

Her objects of study are the processes of creation of spaces and the mechanisms of evolution of settlements and territories over the long term, from the Palaeolithic to present time.
